SIANI UNITE WITH UK GOSPEL &
CHRISTIAN ARTISTES
TO RECORD CHARITY SONG TO RAISE AID FOR TSUNAMI VICTIMS
On Saturday 19th February 2005,
Siani joined forces with the cream of UK gospel and
Christian artistes to record a charity song, One Voice,
One Heart, to raise funds for the Tsunami victims.
Recorded at the infamous Abbey Road studios, in London,
home to The Beatles recordings, veteran gospel artistes,
such as Levine Hudson, The Wades and Trumpet of Zion
sang alongside the UK’s contemporary Gospel
and Christian artistes, to create this momentous,
heartfelt occasion in UK gospel history.
The song, One Voice, One Heart,
was written by Tim Hughes and Mark Beswick, whilst
production was shared between two phenomenal gospel
producers, Linslee Campbell and Neil Costello. The
project was the brainchild of Lawrence Johnson, co-founder
of The London Community Gospel Choir and former member
of the award-winning gospel outfit, Nu Colours.
At the recording, Nicholle from
Siani, expressed her thoughts to participating in
this amazing project. “ It was a good event
to be part of. The focus was giving our support to
help those affected by the Tsunami. We hope people
will support the track by buying it to raise funds
for the appeal.”
Sales from the single, which
will be released at Easter, will go towards the relief
fund.

RELEASE July 2004
Siani take a commanding position
within the Urban and Gospel Market place. The infectious
Linslee summer sizzler 'Love Is' has gone to number
one in the Blues & Soul Hip List chart making
this Siani's third consecutive number one hit.
As the vinyl hits the street, the
awareness on the track continues to grow rapidly with
national airplay and rave reviews throughout Gospel
and Urban radio and Press.
The track received a four star rating
when reviewed in this months DJ Magazine and has also
been playlisted on one of UK's foremost R&B/Hip
Hop radio stations, Choice FM. The track is loved
by DJ's across the station and has been made 'Record
of the week' on the Morning Vibe which goes out to
270,000 listeners.
Siani's Management have stated that
this is a major break through for Gospel Music and
something which we've all been waiting a long time
for. Management are happy that doors have been opened
and hopes that this is just the beginning of hearing
UK Gospel music being played across the station day
and night. The Choice FM bosses need to see that there
is a strong Gospel Community who will support and
back Gospel music so that when they consider playlisting
other Gospel tracks, they can see that there is stung
support and also a demand for Gospel music.
We all need to get behind the track
and you can show your support by voting for it at
http://www.choicefm.com/playlist.asp and also flooding
the request lines asking for the track to be played
(Choice 96.9 FM Studio: 020 7403 0969 or Choice 107.1
FM Studio: 020 8348 1071). Out of 34 playlisted tracks
Siani are already in third position with 6% vote behind
Usher's - Burn with 9% and R.Kelly's - Happy People
with 11% vote.
With the album ‘just around
the corner’, Siani continue to work around the
clock causing major impact in both Gospel and non
Gospel sectors of the music industry.
Siani strike again,
applying their winning formula to produce smash hits
time and time again and achieving equal success both
within the Gospel and Mainstream arenas.
The latest to hit the streets is
the VERY VERY HOT Limited Edition 'Love Is' album
sampler containing tracks 'Love Is', 'Love Ya', 'Coming
Home' (we did warn you about this one!), and Your
Love.
This sampler is just an appetiser!
The full album 18 track album is not for the feint
hearted. Siani have just raised the stakes again with
an album who's credits read like the who's who of
the UK urban industry. With Production by Linslee,
Miss Cherokee, Antoine Stone, Adrian McKenzie, Whiteboy
Chris Brooks and Ibe and Collaborations with Jahaziel,
Miss Cherokee and The Witness. Musician's on the album
include Dr Peter 'The Scientist' Daley, Michael 'The
Prophet' Brown, Luke 'The Duke' Smith, Alden ‘Bishop’
Clarke and, of course, the man of the moment, Linslee
Campbell himself.
Besides taking the GEM award for
best UK Group 2003/2004 and also enjoying the Blues
& Soul Gospel Category Award for two consecutive
years, Siani have consistently worked hard to create
great music. Previous Siani tracks like 'Missing You',
'Get up on the floor' and 'The Corner' were pioneering
tracks unlocking closed doors and gaining huge success
in many quarters including number one spots in the
highly respected and credible Blues and Soul magazine
Urban charts and also number ones within the Hip List
Urban Essentials magazine Charts. As if that wasn't
enough, 'The Corner' made history being the first
ever Gospel track to be playlisted at BBC's 1xtra.
But they didn't put it in the lower playlists, they
'A' Playlisted the track giving it a massive 24 rotations
daily!!
The 'Love Is' album looms and within
the last few weeks, most people have had a taste of
what's to come. DJ's up and down the country are raving
about the album which has gained widespread support
by Gospel DJ's including Dave P, DJ Fitz, Nikki Tapper,
Dulcie Dixon, Tony Tomlin, Trevor Junior, Proclaimer,
Dave Prince plus many more.
Not only have Siani gained full
support from the Gospel fraternity, they have gained
much love and respect from some of UK's biggest Urban
mainstream DJ's who have always supported the group
on Radio and in Clubs. UK's Urban Taste Makers have
been right behind the latest cuts with people like
DJ Bigger rinsing the tracks up and down the counrty
and Trevor Nelson's playing title track 'Love Is'
on Sunday night (28/29th March 2004) to his massive
Radio 1 audience.
'Love Is' (title track to the album)
is set to be a huge hit, with 1xtra immediately playlisting
the track and with the other major Radio Stations
ready to follow suit. With the right campaign we could
be on the verge of achieving what Gospel in the UK
has been building up to for years.
There has been a massive response
to the album so far and this has lead to the album
release being put back. Vinyl EP's will be released
within the next 3 weeks to fuel the response further
whilst raising further awareness, whilst the full
marketing campaign kicks in. The album will then be
released shortly thereafter

GEM Award winners Siani prepare
for the release of their Hot double A Promo single
due January 2004. The single features great productions
from Linslee and Diamond Stone and a collaboration
with fellow GEM award winner 'The Witness'. This will
certainly get things warmed up in the UK and abroad
in the run up to the release of their debut 'Love
is' album expected February 2004.
Siani recently appeared on God TV
along with the well respected and much loved Ciyo.
The girls were interviewed about the roller coaster
ride they've had since bursting onto the UK Gospel
scene two and a half years ago. The girls are undoubtedly
the most successful UK gospel act born out of the
UK in the last two and a half years with a string
of achievements to their credit.
Following her memorable reign on
BBC's Fame Academy, Simone, who now juggles her Kyra,
Siani and Personal diary, was recently invited to
a Berkshire secondary school where she was called
to present certificates to school Children for outstanding
achievement. She also gave an empowering speech to
the children before wrapping things up in song. Simone
said she found the experience overwhelming and said
she was glad to be an inspiration and role model for
the youth.
Nichole from the Group leaves to
go to Canada for a well deserved two week break. Due
to the positive response to Siani in Canada, she is
due to conduct some radio interviews whilst out there.
Incidentally, for those who love ballads AKA slow
Jams, look out for a track entitled 'Coming Home'
from the forthcoming album produced by Linslee with
Nicholle on lead vocals. Wow!!
Siani have recently been interviewed
by one of the UK's most respected RnB DJ's. DJ Bigger,
talks to the girls about their journey so far and
what we can expect for the future. This double magazine
spread can be found up and down the country in UK's
leading 'Urban Essentials' Christmas special magazine
along with interviews from Jo and Alicia Keys.
The Urban Essentials Chart
features the UK's hottest RnB Chart compiled on sales
through the UK's major high street and specialist
stores plus also the latest exclusive new product.
Siani went to number one with their previous hits
'The Corner' and Get up on the floor'. Siani's Management
hope that the next release gains as much popularity
and success within the all important buzz charts.

Simone thought she'd get a rest

Ambassador
Simone from Siani continues to etch UK Gospel on the
minds of millions, venturing where no other UK gospel
artist has dared to go before.
National
prime time television, Millions of viewers, National
tabloid press and Magazine exposure, all day interactive
television exposure, not to mention the world Class
vocal coaching, the song writing tuition, insight
into the music business and other skills nurtured
and developed at the Academy.
Siani's Management have said that
this kind of vast exposure has never been achieved
in UK Gospel before and is only a distant dream for
many artists. It's time to come out of our confines
and began to broaden our horizons and stretch ourselves.
The UK gospel industry has been struggling for over
20 years and we hope that this paves the way for other
UK Gospel acts to similar expose the future. We think
Simone deserves the red carpet treatment when she
eventually leaves the Academy (at least for a few
days at least!) and a welcome home party will definitely
be in order!
See Simone sings again tomorrow
night on BBC's Fame Academy, let's hope she gets a
good choice of song this time!
Whilst Simone Champions the Academy,
Agery and Nicholle continue to Champion Siani with
exhilarating performances. Management were thinking
of a temporary replacement but after Agery's and Nicholas
performance at Nottingham Carnival this option has
been 'put on the back burner'. Junior Stewart said
the following, "people often praise the management
of the group but when you are dealing with exceptional
singers like Simone, Agery and Nicholle, you end up
marketing quality and that makes life alot easier.
That is why in two years Siani have been able to achieve
such success and carve a niche in both Gospel and

Siani's track, "The Corner",
has made history by being the first ever Gospel track
worldwide to be 'A' Playlisted on BBC's 1Xtra Radio
Station, being played a staggering 27 times daily

The track also charted at number
8 on the Urban Essentials 'A' list buzz chart ahead
of the likes of Jay Z feat Beyonce -'Bonnie and Clyde',
Ja Rule feat Amerie -'Mesmerize' and Lil Mo- 'Make

The Magazine had the following to
say:-
"This double Side is going
to be Siani's biggest single to date, make no mistake.
"The Corner" is produced by Linslee Campbell
and is simply made for dance floors. This floor shaker,
speaker popping, head nodder is a monster. Add to
this the wonderfully melodic smooth groove "Get
up on the floor" produced by the oh so talented
Miss Cherokee. This silky velvet swayer with a bad
bass line and more classy lyrics has truly set this
talented outfit up for an interesting 2003. 4/5

PRESS
RELEASE 20 - 22nd November 2002
The last few weeks have seemed like a roller coaster
ride for the members of Siani.
Having taken a well deserved 2 week
break to Egypt, they returned to the
news that their own event (An Evening with Siani),
had sold out with 27 on
the reserves list. In addition, they learnt that the
Dockland arena was due
to be packed with over 2500 tickets having been sold
in advance for the Fred
Hammond concert, for which they were support.
For those lucky enough to attend
the unprecedented Evening with Siani, you
will agree that this was a night both to remember
and savour. It was a
night of pure Gospel excellence where the cream of
UK gospel displayed that
we are on the verge of something very special over
here in the UK!
Nathan Prime opened using all his
experience an displaying his formidable
talent to set the pace for the night. Lorna LaMaar
then followed with a
splendid display of Reggae backed by her dancers.
Next up was the talented
and charming 4 Korners and then came the unrivalled
male harmonies of
Blessed Voices. This was only the start and already
people had their monies
worth! But there was more...
Siani were then introduced onto
stage by their host Grantly to a frenzy of
applause as they came onto stage with to their debut
single 'We Aint Got
No' and then followed up by their second single 'Missin'
U'.
Grantly hosted the second section
of this evening injecting humour whilst
interviewing the girls on what became a very intimate
and relaxed evening
where the audience were all given the opportunity
so ask the girls some
questions of their choice. The girls answered all
questions professionally, showing that they are all
grounded and intelligent girls who have direction
in their lives. Group member Nicholle decided to go
one step further by answering one of the questions
in song.
When asked how she became a committed
Christian she spontaneously burst into song with the
Church chorus "Something got a hold of me."
Now that was just pure class!
Siani's enhanced CD was shown on
big screen and had everyone hooked on the video, so
much so that Grantly had to call for it to be switched
of to get everyone's attention back. Due to European
engagements, the original lead
singer of Boney M could not make it but had recorded
a message for the girls
which was also shown on big screen.
At one stage the girls spoke about
their experiences and about young up and coming talent
before inviting their younger cousin Shaneeka to sing
"I believe I can Fly"...Well, Well, well,
all we can say is that you heard and saw her first
at An Evening with Siani. What an awesome talent.
You will definitely be seeing a lot more of her in
months to come.
As if the audience had not been
fed enough, the evening was further
garnished with Siani collaborating with some of UK's
finest.
The girls sang 'Amazing Grace' with
Raymond Dyer and the crowd witnessed why the front
man of Raymond and Co has such a big name in the industry
today. He displayed pure talent with his smooth vocals
and his wide vocal range.
The girls performed with the infamous
Miss Cherokee who is as much an
accomplished producer as she is an exceptional singer.
The Girls have
worked alongside Miss Cherokee in the studio producing
the track they sang
on the night, 'Get up on the Floor'. This track has
received rave reviews
from mainstream and Gospel DJ's and went down a storm
on the night.
Watchman BLITZED the place with
his collaboration on the track 'True Man'.
This track is going to be absolutely HUGE when the
album is released. The
audience loved it. Watchman came on stage and the
crowd went wild. His
lyrical content, delivery and stage presence was awesome
and the girls were
honoured to share the same platform as him.
The girls then went back to their
roots by singing with UK's premier Gospel
choir - Kyra. For those who don't know, the girls
started of singing with
the choir before Siani was born and in fact still
sing with the choir today.
It is clear to see where their talent stems from.
The first song with the choir was
'Come by here' lead by conductor Jennifer
Stewart with Nicholle singing the lead and displaying
why she is considered
one of the best female vocalist in the country.
The night was then topped of with
the song 'Oh Happy Day' which the girls
sung with Kyra. This had a James Brown groove which
had everyone in the
audience on their feet dancing.
This was the end to this memorable
evening. Full credit to Siani's live
band, Patrick White (MD), Donavan Hepburn on Drums,
Femi Temowa on lead
guitar, Noval Smith on Keys and Peter Daley on Keys.
They were awesome.
Full credit to Grantly and Vincent Cox who hosts on
the night.
Unfortunately, tickets for this
event sold out a week and a half before the
event. We squeezed about 400 people into the venue
and people stood down
the side and at the back.
There were numerous phone calls
received by people asking for tickets, and
these people were asked to place their names on a
reserve list just in case
there were any cancellations. Unfortunately, there
were no cancellations.
You will be glad to know that, in
view of the above, Kyra Melodies and D&P
events have decided to stage the part II of this event,
but in Birmingham.
We will be running luxury coaches to the midlands
for those who didn't get
to see the show or those who did and wish to see more
UK talent from London
and the Midlands in Birmingham.

Siani continue working tirelessly
in the studio sculpting what is set to
be a ground breaking album.
Siani face one difficulty in that requests for them
to perform at various events up and down the country
keep coming in, eating into valuable studio time.
Management have had to draw a line and Siani will
only perform at selected events only.
Between live performances and working in the studio,
Siani have made their
first music video 'Missing You', which is currently
being broadcast in the UK, Europe, South Africa, Australia,
Texas and Canada.
Due to public demand Siani's management have decided
to release an enhanced CD containing a sample of tracks
from the forthcoming album and the music video thus
allowing people to view the video from their computers.
Siani
have entered unchartered territory in releasing this
enhanced CD as this has never been done in UK Gospel
before.
Siani have had a great response to their first single
from overseas. In particular the US media have given
rave reviews and a significant number of email requests
for CD's have received. As a result, a number of contacts
have been established and Siani's Management have
sent group member, Nicholle and Dancer, Sophie to
the Gospel Music Workshop of America in Detroit America.
Contact has been made with the girls who are having
a great time meeting many people including well respected
pioneers of Gospel music including Fred Hammond and
Donnie McClurkin.

management to
invite them to perform at one of their largest Clubs

RELEASE 12 - FEB 2002
Siani's
1st single 'We Aint Got No'
fended off fierce competition as the British public
recognised it's fine Production by the man of the
moment Adrian McKenzie at the Oasis Awards held at
the Hilton Metropole, London.
Adrian collected his award
and praised Siani for their talent in the production
of the track.
On speaking with Adrian after
the event he said that there was much more in store
as he is producing a number of tracks on Siani's forthcoming
Album due to be released later this year. He was humbled
to have taken the award in light of the stiff competition
and stated his delight in working with Siani, one
Uks most talented groups.
Siani's manager, Junior Stewart,
was delighted with the achievement. He stated that
this meant a lot to him and the group as he has always
maintained that any Siani production must be nothing
less than excellent and the British public have voted
to say just this. Junior was also delighted at the
tremendous progress that Siani have made since the
release of their 1st single 'We Aint Got No' only
7 months ago.
Siani's next single,'Missin'
U', is due for release 25th February 2002. Once again
you'll find fine Production by the man himself, Adrian
McKenie.
